Organocide
I suggest using Organocide to get your problem under control quickly and introduce the beneficial bugs to keep the pests under control.
You can introduce beneficial bugs after using Organocide, but it’s not advisable to use Organocide after releasing beneficial bugs because the oils will suffocate them on contact and will treat the beneficial bugs just like the pests you are trying to eliminate.
Organocide is a nature-safe, organic spray oil effective on 25 insects and several foliar diseases. It’s effective on small, soft-bodied insects and scale insects (armored and soft scales) such as mites, aphids, whitefly, fungus gnats, chinch bugs, and mealybug. It kills the eggs, larvae, nymphs, and adults of target insects. The diseases Organocide effectively prevents and cures are foliar diseases which thrive in moisture-rich environments such as powdery mildew. Organocide is safe for people, pets, and the environment. It is exempt from Federal EPA registration because of its safe formulation. It can be sprayed on edible plants, and there is no re-entry time after application; plants can be harvested right after a spray.
The reason Organocide is effective is because it works with three primary modes of action:
1. The dense oils suffocate insects on contact.
2. Leaves a micro-film on the plant that repells egg-laying females. This prevents immediate re-infestations.
3. The fatty acids in the oils are toxic to targeted soft-bodied insects when they soak into their bodies.
These modes of action provide superior performance equal to or better than “traditional chemical pesticides” without the risk. Organocide has been proven effective in university studies and, more importantly, in the real world.
Organocide kills the eggs and larve, nymphs and adults of small, soft bodied insects and scale insects (armored and soft scales) such as mites, aphids, fungus gnats, chinch bugs, mealy bugs, leaf rollers, leaf miner, thrips, fleas and whiteflies. Organocide will kill the eggs and larve of fleas, but will not kill the adults.
Whiteflies are the most difficult insect to control because it has such a short life span and repopulates very quickly. Organocide will kill them when sprayed directly on contact but will not prevent them from coming back if left on the leaves.
Organocide is not harmful to beneficial or large insects such as bees, beetles, lady bugs or worms.
Organocide effectively prevents and cures foliar diseases which thrive in moisture rich environments such as powdery mildew, black spots on roses, greasy spots and helminthesporium.
Very few plants have adverse reactions to Organocide. Plants in the Euphorbia family such as crown of thorns and poinsettias have shown some sensitivity and some hibiscus plants have dropped some blooms after being treated with Organocide, but no permanent plant damage has been observed.
Organocide is available in a concentrate you mix with water. You can purchase by clicking on the link or the picture of the bottle. The ingredients are Sesame Oil 5%; Refined fish oil 92%; Emulsifiers 3%.
In instructions suggest that you apply every 7 days for up to 3 weeks for heavy infestations. I dilute the Organocide just a little more than the instructions say and after I spray my Basils enough to soak on top of the leaves, stems and on the undersides of the leaves, day 1. (It is very important to saturate the undersides of the leaves, since this is where most of the pests hide).
Then each day, I gently shake my individual basil plants and with the spray bottle with my prepared Organocide, I mist the air around the Basil plants, if there are white flies that fly off my plants. Some of the mist will land on the plants, but that is okay too. Then once a week, I inspect each of my Basil plants to see if I need to drench them again.
Organocide can be applied at any time under most any conditions. When applied as directed, there is very little risk of leaf burn when applied to plants, even on hot, sunny days.
There is no re-entry time after application and plants can be harvested right after a spray. Organocide is made up of all food-grade oils.
Purchase Organocide and have delivered right to your door!
You can watch a video of how I apply Organocide to my Basil plants!
Love Your Basil,
