Garden hand tools for everyone

Ramona’s Basil Garden gifts has a new item developed by Ramona herself…..

….That is what one field tester said of my new product line of Backyard Genie™ products.  Here’s the story….After using several ‘big box‘ store brands of hand garden tools, I knew there had to be a better garden tool set out there somewhere.  Turns out, in my research and testing, I did not find exactly what I was looking for.  so, I set some specifications and decided that I was looking for  some gardening tools that were good looking, durable, ergonomic, tough, and long lasting.  Easy on the hands was another criteria.  My hands are just not as strong as they used to be and I needed tools that were easy to hold.

So all of the above in a nutshell was my criteria.  Some of my friends even had bent and broken and rusted trowels and diggers.  That is unacceptable.

I rolled up my sleeves and went to work.  It was a ton of hard work and frustration, but in the end, it was also satisfying.

I found my own manufacturer, and I call my new product line “Backyard Genie™.”  These are the best looking, hardest working garden hand tools I could come up with and believe me, I looked around a lot.

In some of our other gardens besides my basil gardens, I have adopted the Square Foot Gardening Method by Mel Bartholomew.  This has changed my entire way of vegetable gardening and the Backyard Genie Garden Tool Kit is all I would ever need.  The square foot gardening method is not as labor intensive and I use these essential garden tools set every day now.  In fact, it is now mid November and I am still nursing a 4’x16′ bed of Roma Tomatoes and I only used the 3-piece garden tool set to plant over 70 Roma tomatoes in the bed.  They are still thriving!

The rake was used to smooth the soil mixture.  The transplanter, with its engraved planting depth right on the tool, was used to set the plants to exactly the right depth.  The big trowel is always handy to separate the solid and plant the tomatoes.  Everything worked in harmony with each other and I’m proud of this first quality gardening tool in the Backyard Genie™ product line.

You can purchase your own garden tool set in Ramona’s Basil Garden Gifts.  They make great garden gifts for women and you can get them as a Christmas gift for mom too.  (My husband uses them too…they are tough enough for men and he doesn’t break them).

They make great gifts for gardeners on your Christmas list or they are just plain good planing tools for the coming Spring.
